Meet Michelle Hari, Key Account Manager, National Sales DACH
ACADEMIA AND MOTIVATION
Following the completion of my Bachelor of Science in Biology, I pursued my Master of Science, focusing on my passion: Neurobiology. After successfully concluding my master’s thesis, I made a conscious decision to shift away from academia. My goal was to apply my knowledge more directly to make a positive impact on people's lives, but I felt a longing for my beloved field of neuroscience. Fortunately, my enthusiasm was reignited upon learning that BIAL, a company specialising in neuroscience, was seeking a new Key Account Manager.
WHY BIAL?
Two pivotal factors drew me to BIAL. Initially, a colleague's recommendation caught my attention, and secondly, BIAL's specialisation in neuroscience perfectly aligned with my primary interest. However, the ultimate appeal lies in the combination of exceptionally amiable individuals, intriguing and promising products, and a compelling competitive offer. BIAL's distinct advantage, particularly in Switzerland, lies in its size and the caliber of its people. Despite being a compact team, we boast an extensive reservoir of expertise. Working as an employee here goes beyond the routine; it offers opportunities for involvement in various aspects beyond the daily grind.
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK AT BIAL?
One of the aspects that sets my work apart and resonates with me is the opportunity to shoulder significant responsibilities. What I appreciate most about my role at BIAL is the sense of being heard and taken seriously as well as the feeling of actually changing something. In our dynamic environment, when field insights lead to suggestions for change, the matter is not just acknowledged but treated with gravity and subjected to a thorough discussion. What stands out is the agility with which changes are implemented. The culture at BIAL ensures that new insights are promptly recognised, discussed, and implemented, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
